Clavell’s Café and Farm Shop is situated in the picturesque village of Kimmeridge on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset one mile inland from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
Kimmeridge and its Bay is owned by the Smedmore estate and are renowned for fossil collecting, diving and surfing. Clavells Café takes its name from Clavell’s Tower a distinctive clifftop folly now owned by the Landmark Trust, which moved the tower from the crumbling Kimmeridge cliff edge and converted it into one of the most coveted holiday lets in the country with matchless views along the dramatic Purbeck coast.

We specialize in dishes using our own farm meat and fish from Kimmeridge Bay and were voted Runner-Up in the 'Best Tea-room' category in the Taste of Dorset Awards 2010 & Taste of Dorset Awards 2011.
