Farm Shop
Open daily 9.00am – 5.30pm
(Closed on Mondays during the winter months)
Most of the products on sale are sourced from Dorset and include our own range of preserves made for us by Forest products of Bridport. Many of these are used in the cafe such as the real ale chutney which accompanies the Farmer’s Platter and the jam used in the cream teas.
While produce from the family’s farm has pride of place, the shop is also a showcase for the best of the Purbeck and Dorset food and drink
Some of our local suppliers include bread from Dragon’s Bakery at Corfe Castle, eggs and milk from Swanage dairies, honey from Fields farm at Swanage, cheese from the Windswept Cow at Worth Matravers vegetables from Church Knowle and smoked salmon and gravlax from the smokehouse also at Church Knowle. We also have the award winning Purbeck ice cream made at Hazel and Peter Hartle’s farm overlooking Corfe Castle and a selection of Lyme bay wines and liquors and a local cider and apple juice.
Other produce comes from some of Dorset’s biggest food names such as Fudges of Stalbridge, Moores of Morecombelake, Clipper teas, Honeybuns and Dorset Cereals. During the summer months we also have homemade baguettes to take away, local savoury pies and cakes.
There is also a wide selection of groceries and gift packs ranging from savoury biscuits to packs of fudge and chocolates. Local photos and greetings cards are also on sale.
Our farm provides the beef, lamb, pork and bacon for the butchery department where there is a wide range of brilliant homemade sausages, beefburgers and kebabs for all your barbeque requirements, we also produce our own home-cured bacon, gammon and ham.
